In the past few years, there are several recalls of toys which are made in China. These toys were recalled due to excessive lead content, non-adherence to safety standards or the use of toxic and sub-standard materials in their manufacturing. Although many anime toys, such as plush dolls and figurines sold at our store are made in China, please be assured that these toys were exported back to Japan where they undergo rigourous quality checks to ensure product safety. Toys which do not pass the quality tests will not be exported for sale. Hence, we only import our toys directly from Japan and NEVER from China, Hong Kong or other sources. WE DO NOT & WILL NEVER SELL BOOTLEGS!
